ANATOMY OF A SLAM DUNK …

The West Virginia Warlocks are a semi-professional basketball team based in North Central West Virginia. They needed a complete, unique identity, as they were an up-and-coming team with big ambitions and a talented roster.

the Solution

The logo was crafted with angular features and clean lines to symbolize the team’s mountain roots, while also reinforcing their fast-paced and rugged playing style. This look also translated into team swag items, ranging from fan shirts and hats, to stickers and other merchandise.

As the team’s social media presence grows, I am developing a series of hype graphics and posters to reinforce the brand, as well as the team’s strengths and set them apart from the rest of the league.
